I've been interested in art ever since I was a child growing up in Southern California. Though I can't remember a time when I didn't have a pencil in my hand, when I graduated from high school I became interested in watercolor. I loved making art using watercolor, and did so as a periodic hobby until 1995 when I expanded my interest into acrylics. Painting in acrylics was a game-changer for me, and to this day, I still spend much of my time in the studio investigating this dynamic medium.
Along the way, I attended art school in New Mexico. When I decided to transfer to Vermont's Goddard College to explore a broader liberal arts education, I was able to incorporate art into my curriculum. Though I did not attain a degree, the education I received during my years in college provided me with something I consider perhaps even more valuable: self-knowledge. And what did I learn about myself, you might ask? I learned that with the time I have left in this body, I want to spend it making art.
My art has been shown in a plethora of venues in California, New Mexico, and Virginia. Every time I sell a piece, I feel humbled, honored, and blessed knowing that the passion I put into every mark shows through. My greatest hope as an artist is that others have an opportunity to enjoy what I have so much enjoyed creating.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
